Pilates is a method of physical conditioning and physical therapy whose goal is bodily re-balance through movements conducted with precision and control, directed by breathing, calmness and mental concentration. This method contributes to the development of strong, flexible and robust musculature, working from the deepest muscles to the periphery, especially the back, abdomen and gluteus. Pilates develops balance, proprioception and muscular awareness.
With groups limited to 12 people, at ARMONIA we use the Pilates mat (floor exercises) complemented by the use of Balls, Rings, Rollers, elastic band, balance pillows. The instructor provides personalized attention, adapting the exercises to individual needs.
